The course is drawn; boats appear as they load. On mobile data, Light mode updates every 30 seconds instead of every 5.
Watching uses little data: the boats' positions are small updates every few seconds. The map itself uses the most, so Wi-Fi is best if you are watching for hours. Nothing is recorded from your phone.
Set up the race, place the buoys, approve the crews, then follow every boat live and publish the results. Everything lives in the left menu.
